Sydney University invites international applicants to pursue their higher degree at the University of Surrey in Australia in undergraduate degree 2021. This award will be given to outstanding students who wish to undertake an undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney you must enroll for a full-time Bachelor’s degree – 4 academic years.

There are two Sydney Scholar scholarships, worth $6,000 annually (including combined undergraduates) which are valid for one to five years:

• $6000 per year for the duration of an undergraduate degree
• $6000 for 1 year of an undergraduate degree.

The bursary is paid in 2 installments. The applicant must maintain a minimum semester average mark (SAM) of 75 to earn the second installment of the bursary. It is not necessary to extend or renew the bursary.


  • Any International Students can apply for this scholarship
  • The applicant must hold a Higher School Certificate
  • The applicant applying for admission through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). They must have achieved an ATAR of 95 or above
  • The applicant applying to the Sydney Conservatorium of Music or the Sydney Dental School must receive an ATAR of 90 or above
