Eligibility Criteria

  • Complete the Common Application: Complete the standard application and apply it. You will be required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of $70, upon request. In any aspect of the application process make sure you use the same email address, including registration in standardized tests. When you apply for Fall 2021, you will be asked to submit an additional essay focussing on resilience. In addition, students will be asked in a personal statement of 650 words or less to respond to one of the seven prompts. Selection Process

Chosen students to participate in the Spring scholarship Weekend at the University of Miami are invited to participate in the Spring. A two-day weekend program brings together UM professors and current students and can learn more about our interest-driven curriculum. Over the weekend, a selection committee will determine the Finalist, whom it recommends to earn the Stamps Scholarship on the basis of their overall results. Finalists take part in a further interview with the Charitable Foundation of the Stamps Family.


Terms and Conditions

A stamp student must complete a full-time undergraduate program of study of no less than 12 credit hours for a minimum of 24 credit hours each academic year for each autumn and spring semester. The academic year at the University of Miami will have at least a 3.0 GPA in order, with initial estimates being carried out at the end of the second semester. Any grant, bursary, or prepaid tuition and/or housing aid which is not expected at the time the award is issued shall be revised pending receipt.
