Job Description:

Perform standard security functions; such as advice on the organization’s policy, security planning, security training, and field movement.

  • Develop relationships with government bodies, and other relevant partners to broaden the analytical network.
  • Complete relevant records and logbooks, in a professional manner providing sufficient detail.
  • To make sure security equipment (torches, whistles, alarms, cameras, etc) kept in the right place and working properly.
  • Liaise with local government (representatives) on security-related issues.
  • Proactively share information with Support Division Director ensuring high-security awareness levels and close situation monitoring.
  • Ensuring the communication systems are adequate and maintained and provide training to staff on the use of such equipment and communications protocols.
  • Identify security-related information sources and create an information-gathering network in Office.
  • Participate in the security-related meetings, when required and coordinate security assessment with other stakeholders and prepares the provincial security plan as well as security risk assessments;
  • Conduct area, site, program risk assessments and produce the relevant report based on that
    conducts weekly security briefings
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
  • Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
  • Performs basic first aid as required, in particular in emergency situations;
  • Watch for irregularities (such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, lights left on, equipment malfunctions, unlocked security doors) and report incidents or problems to the appropriate authority
  • Responsible for computers alarms systems and security cameras, keeping updated and ready for use at any time.
  • Building a proper loop of communication between provinces and ensure the overall aspects of security at the provincial offices.
  • Traveling for security purposes to the provinces whenever needed.
  • As required, is available 24/7 to follow up on security incidents, especially in emergency situations
  • Any other security-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements:

  • The employee for this position must have at least Bachelor’s degree.
  • Relevant or similar experience in Security at least (5 years).
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Pashto, and Dari.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with staff in a professional way.
  • Computer Skills (Word, Excel & Internet)
