Danish Government Scholarship

The University of Southern Denmark, funded by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, provides the Danish Government Scholarship to certain applicants in recognition of the substantial investment that students make during their studies.

The scholarship consists of two parts: full waiver of tuition fees and a grant to help offset the cost of living of DKK 3000 per month before taxes.

Eligibility

Non-EU / EEA applicants registering for one of the following Engineering Master’s programs in Sønderborg (start of the program in autumn) and are required to pay tuition fees:

  1. MSc in Engineering – Mechatronics
  2. MSc in Engineering – Electronics

 

  • The scholarships are awarded to the qualifying candidates with the highest qualifications. All qualifying students being given a place of study will be considered automatically for the scholarship. We do not need a separate query.
  • The Faculty of Engineering also has the ability to select highly eligible candidates for a scholarship for other programs.

 

Selection criteria

The scholarship will be awarded to the best eligible applicants, based on points. For will program please look under the “Entry Requirements” section. To ensure we can process the application, all documents must be available before the application deadline.
