CHA is an Afghan National humanitarian nonprofit organization, set up in 1987 working in different sectors such as Health, Education, Agriculture, and other relief programs. CHA is a long-term partner of the Ministry of Public Health, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan
CHA currently implementing the Covid-19 project in Ghor province, and looking for qualified candidates for the position of Technical Project Manager of Covid-19 project based in Ghor Province.
Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is looking for a skilled technical Project Manager to lead the affairs of the Ghore COVID-19 Hospital.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Plan and follow successful delivery of the COVID-19 response project activities in targeted districts of Ghor including in accordance with the project objectives
Effectively Communicate with Ph.D. Ghor, clients, and other stakeholders to create a supportive environment at the line department and community level for effective implementation of project planned activities.
Lead timely happening project planned procurements (PPEs kits, Chlorine Solution, Chlorine Spray Pumps, Equipment, and other supplies) in coordination with related departments within the organization
Conduct visits to project implementation sites, with a focus on the smooth implementation of quality services.
Liaise with local Project officer and hospital director to ensure effective and efficient program delivery.
Ensure that the program operates within the approved budget
Coordinate the delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency
Write monthly and quarterly and ad hoc progress reports on the program for management and stakeholder, Providing week and monthly updates to the main office.
Communicate with stakeholders and spurting organizations, as outlined in program & agreements.
Design, prepare and review health training material for awareness of beneficiaries regarding covid-19. Training curriculum may include role-plays, simulations, case studies and other practical skills, and pre-and post-testing
Conduct and evaluate needs assessment for the training programs.
Train CHA, medical & none medical staffs, trainers, project staff, and project beneficiaries
Ensure that the flow of information to and from CHA is relevant to aid the community and accommodate for changes in the environment.
Moderate Advocacy Committees Meetings and events
Assist in convening Advocacy events e.g. press conferences and seminars.
Organizing the training to provincial COVID-19 project staff, private health sectors with the coordination of senior management
Participate in meetings and events invited by donors, government, and other stakeholders.
Ensure adequate communication with all local Partners as well as their training and capacity development.
Translate texts and presentations from National languages (Dari and Pashto) into English and vice versa
editing and translating training and campaign materials
In consultation with the Senior Management Team, recruit, interview, and select well-qualified project staff as per project need.
Monitor progress of training and public awareness workshops conducted and Trainers
The supervising project-related team in their field (COVID-19 hospital, RRTs, and District center) with preparing plan, report, and fruitful technical feedback, to the relevant levels.
Ensure all staff members receive orientation and appropriate training in accordance with organizational and MOPH standards
Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks
Respect the Afghan culture, keeping events and themes tuned and balanced in all program activities.
Report supervision, monitoring & evaluation findings to the Project Coordinator and recommend changes to enhance the program, as appropriate
The successful applicants will need to address the following criteria:
Graduate from a recognized Medical University.
At least three years of full-time experience in the management of provincial health projects.
Work experience with other health organizations.
Excellent knowledge of English (Written, spoken, and understanding), Pashto, or Dari.
Must have an understanding and working experience of office programs, outlook, and the internet.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work and deal successfully in a multi-cultural environment.
