London Free Masters Degree Scholarships

The Queen Mary University of London is one of the major higher education organizations focused on research in the UK.

They have more than 25,000 students, nearly 4,500 staff members, and a £ 462 m annual turnover.

They teach and study a broad variety of humanities, social sciences, law, medicine, dentistry, and science and engineering topics.

About the Scholarship

They host a big cohort of 1500 Chevening Scholars each year who come to study throughout the UK at universities.

In addition to the normal Chevening Awards, Queen Mary is a Chevening Partner and provides extra prizes to those Chevening selects.

For a candidate who has an offer for MSc Economics, the School of Economics and Finance is financing an extra scholarship for 2019 entry.

Expenses cover:

  1. university tuition fees
  2. a monthly stipend
  3. travel costs to and from the UK
  4. an arrival allowance
  5. a homeward departure allowance
  6. the cost of one visa application
  7. a travel grant to attend Chevening events in the UK

Eligibility

Be a citizen of a nation or territory eligible for Chevening

Return to your citizenship nation for at least two years after the end of your award.

Have finished all parts of a degree that will allow you to enter a postgraduate program 

at a UK university by the moment you submit your request. 

This is typically equal to a 2:1 honors degree of upper second-class in the UK.

Have at least two years of work experience.

Apply to three distinct eligible UK university courses 

and have obtained an unconditional offer as of 16 July 2020 from one of those options.

How to Apply

Applications launched on 6 August for 2019 admission and will be closed on 6 November. Candidates should also apply normally through their internet portal for their selected Master’s program at Queen Mary. You must rank Queen Mary as your first choice university in order to qualify for a Partner Award.
