Konosuke Matsushita Memorial Foundation offered foreign bourses of students beginning their graduate studies at one of Japan’s universities in September of next year as well as students who have already begun their bachelor studies in Japan or any other study. The subject for research should be close to the goals of KMMF. Interested applicants who are eligible to apply are strongly encouraged.

Eligibility | KMMF Scholarhsip

  • Applicants already enrolled in a JU for bachelor or research purposes and in September of the next academic year wanted to study their M.A. in Japan
  • Applicants without compensation or incentive from an agency or corporation
  • No other scholarship must be given to applicants
  • Can participate in all official meetings, activities, and programs of KMMF
  • Will embrace and play the entire role of the KMMF Scholarship
  • KMMF will actively participate in the activities and organize an exchange program
  • The JLPT N3 or higher qualifications will be an advantage

West Asia and Central Asia, North end is Mongolia and South end is Indonesia, African countries and surrounding islands, Latin America includes south of Mexico, Arabian Peninsula, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Israel, Turkey, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.

Responsibilities | KMMF Scholarhsip

  • Upon entering the International University of Japan, applicants are required to make a commitment
  • Documents must be submitted four times a year by applicants
  • You will be coordinated by the KMMF in the following program
    • Scholarship award ceremony
    • Achievement ceremony
    • One-on-one interview with KMMF
    • KMMF covers all journeys and accommodations
  • Candidates shall not work part-time
  • When applicants are to depart Japan temporarily, prior KMMF approval must be received
