Following the founder of Sciences Po, Sciences Po established the Emile Boutmy Scholarships to attract the best international students from outside the European Union who are first-time applicants and have been accepted to the University’s Undergraduate or Master’s program.

Information About Scholarship Fields


For three years of undergraduate study, the Emile Boutmy Undergraduate Program may take various forms ranging from € 3,000 to € 12,300. Exceptionally, for the three years of college, a scholarship of € 19,000 may be given.


The Emile Boutmy Master’s program can take various forms – either a € 10,000 grant per year to cover tuition costs for the Masters ‘ two years or a € 5,000 tuition grant per year for the Masters ‘ two years.

Who Is Eligible?

Eligible candidates are those who have been admitted to the Undergraduate or Master’s program for the first time from a non-European Union state whose household does not file taxes within the European Union.

The scholarship is awarded on the basis of criteria of quality and the form of profile that is required for this program.

How to apply?

Students should state that in the “Financial Details” portion of their Sciences Po request, they qualify for the Emile-Boutmy scholarship. Students will also be expected to include proof of income and reports that explain the situation of their parents. The deadline for Master’s programs is December 15, 2019, for the academic year 2020-2021, while the deadline for bachelor programs is yet to be announced.
