As a result of citizens’ lack of concern and carelessness in taking their locks seriously, the number of infection cases involving COVID-19 in Afghanistan was unpredictable, the capacity of existing hospitals was running out and was being refilled.

The Ministry of Public Health has therefore decided, in view of the present situation, to increase the existing capacity in the hospitals and also establish new centers for isolation and treatment of patients with coronavirus.
